Privacy
A policy for a company that does not exist.
The short version: this build collects nothing at all. Below is what a real contractor’s policy would say, alongside what this demonstration actually does.
01
Nothing here collects anything
This is a demonstration
Merrow & Vale is a fictional company and this site is a concept study. The inquiry form is wired to a local handler that resolves after a short delay and discards what you typed — nothing is transmitted, stored, emailed or logged. The policy below describes what a real contractor's site built this way would do.
02
Only what you send us
What we would collect
On a live version: your name, email, the property address and whatever you tell us about the project. No account signup, no tracking pixels, no advertising cookies — that part is true of this build as it stands.
03
To reply and to scope the work
How we would use it
To answer you, to schedule a walkthrough, and to prepare drawings and a bid. Not sold, not shared with advertisers, and not added to a mailing list you did not ask for.
04
Published only if you say so
Photographs of your house
A renovation portfolio is made of photographs of somebody's home. On a live version, nothing from your project appears on this site, in an ad, or on social media without written permission, and permission is revocable — say the word and it comes down.
05
None are connected here
Third-party services
This build talks to no third party at all: no form processor, no analytics, no embedded maps or fonts loaded from someone else's server. A live version would need a form processor at minimum, and it would be named here.
06
There is nobody to email
Questions
The address on this site resolves nowhere, by design. If you reached this page from a portfolio, questions go to whoever showed it to you.
